CFS & Our Community
CFS has a basic belief that it is our responsibility to give back to the community to help make it a better place for all of us. We have supported our local Twin Cities communities through donations of money, in-kind goods, services and many hours of volunteer work. CFS has contributed furniture, labor and warehouse space to numerous non-profit organizations.
CFS has been a member of the Keystone Program, which is sponsored by the Minneapolis Regional Area Chamber of Commerce, since 1996. As a member, we pledge to annually donate 2-5% of our pre-tax profits to non-profit organizations of our choice.
CFS has received The American Cancer Society’s Excalibur award for our contributions to their “World’s Largest Garage Sale”. We have supported this sale for 10 years.
CFS has supported The Warm Hands, Heads and Heart program for 10 years by purchasing hats, gloves and scarves and distribute them to our community.
CFS has supported the NFL Alumni in their annual “Caring for Kids” events to raise funds for local non-profits that support our local youth.
CFS has donated furniture to Bridging, a local Twin Cities non-profit furniture bank that provides resources to those in need.
We have provided large amounts of office furniture to outfit the following non-profits and, have provided the services to design, refurbish, deliver and install this furniture.
